ROYCE—BAKER

A pretty wedding was celebrated at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church at Katikati recently, when Eleanor Myrtle Maude, youngest daughter of Mr W: A. P. Baker was married to Jesse James, only son 'of Mr and Mrs 'Royce, of Romford, England. The officiating clergyman was the Rev. W. Humble, and the organist was Mrs Lansdale. The church had been artistically decorated with pink and gold chrysanthemums and dahlias. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a pink floral jersey-silk frock, a pink cocktail hat and black and white accessories. She carried a bouquet oi' pink roses and chrysanthemums. She was attended by her sister, Mrs John Strawbridge, as matron of honour, who wore a red and white jersey-silk frock, a red cocktail hat and black accessories. Her bouquet was of red dahlias and chrysanthemums. The best man was Mr D. J. Baker, the bride's brother. The reception was held at the home of the bride's father.
