Department as to what terms they would be prepared to offer the board for the balance of the units to meet its total requirements which, it was anticipated, would total 24,000,000 units for the present year. At present, it was explained, the board was purchasing its requirements from the State department on the ordinary scale of charges adopted by the department.

The board added that it would of course be clearly understood that any agreement to purchase from the borough would be subject to an alteration in the legislation in order fo provide that any such transaction would be valid in law.

The council decided to refer the board's request to the Electricity Committee for its comments.
