ST. JOHN AMBULANCE FEES
OVER £IOO WRITTEN OFF DURING YEAR Although the balance sheet disclosed a sound financial position, the treasurer of the Tauranga branch of the St. John Ambulance Asociation, Mr A. J. Gallagher, said that the association would appreciate a better response from the public as regards the payment of ambulance fees, when he presented the balance at the annual meeting. The statement of accounts showed that £lll 13s in ambulance t.ransport fees had been written off. The cost of running the ambulance (excluding wages) had been £212 for the year.
