Edwards equalised for the visitors following a forward scramble after ten minutes of play in the second half, Booth adding the extra points to give Technical a two-point lead. Clarke scored and converted his try eight minutes later to again place Cadets in the lead, but two minutes later, a visiting- forward (Esdall) scored, the kick missing. Three minutes later, another visiting forward (Edwards) picked the ball up and ran round the side of the scrum to score, and, though the kick missed, this gave Technical a three-point lead. However, Clarke gained* possession a few minutes later and began a run down the sideline, passing infield to F. Smith., a breakaway, who scored under the posts. Clarke was successful with the kick and the game ended:— Cadets 13, Hamilton Technical Old Boys 11. Referee, Mr G. Box.
