BOXING CLUB FORMED
VENTURE AT MOUNT MAUNGANUI ELECTION OF OFFICERS A good attendance of Mount Maunganui boxing enthusiasts and supporters decided, at a recent meeting, to form a boxing club. The election of officers resulted as follows: —Patron, Mrs L. B. Mellish; president, Capt. J. Mitchell; vicepresidents, Messrs J. Steevens, G. Faulkner, R. Bcyce, B. Gibbons, J. Carlton, E. Chadban, A .Courtnay, A. S. Kynds, A. Carruthers, J. Sycamore, F. Noland, J. Cochrane; secretary and treasurer, Mr W. Ewen; club captain, Mr N. Hastings; instructors, Messrs G. Hastings, N. Hastings and R. Crawford: physical training instructor, Joe Raymond.
