FEDERATION URGES RESUMPTION
APPEAL TO WATERSIDERS
The belief that the prospects of achieving a settlement of the waterfront dispute satisfactory to the Waterside Workers' Union are so bright that it would be folly to reject the opportunities available has been expressed by the national executive of the New Zealand Federation of Labour in a letter to the union. The federation has, therefore, asked the union to place its case in the hands of the federation and revert to normal working.
