WOMEN'S DIVISION

KATIKATJ BRANCH The attendancq-at the recent meeting of the Katikati branch of the Women's Division cf the Farmers' Union was very good in spito of the inclement weather. Mrs Bralco 'preside:!. Several apologies were received, and two new members enrolled. They were accordpd the usual hearty welcome. Mrs Brake thanked members who so kindly assisted at the Young Farmers' Club dance and also those who assisted at the gymkhana on Labour Day. A pleasant ceremony was performed during the course of the afternoon when Mrs A. Vince a recent war bride from overseas, was welcomed and presented with a very nice gift from the members. Afternoon tea served by Mesdames Bull and Cameron brought a very enjoyable afternoon to a close.
