MUCH IN DEMAND IN U.S.A. ■ Thousands of Americans are waiting to buy British-made cars, because they prefer them to United States makes. This was revSaled in Washington recently by American importers, following, the announcement of the removal of price control on British and other foreign-made cars. Mr Fergusen, President of Fergus Motors, stated: "We've been sellingone British car for £4OO and could have sold thousands. The excellent performance of the British car compared with the American ■ has brought hundreds of enquiries from all over the United States." Mr Henry Holt, President of HoltDeland, said: "Many Americans prefer the British car because of its excellent construction, fine performance and economy in use. Americans are certainly becoming British car conscious."
