TE PUKE SPORTING BODIES MOVE TO ATTAIN UNITY (From our Correspondent.) A meeting of representatives of sporting bodies of the Te Puke district was held in the Te Puke Borough Council Chamber on Thursday evening to discuss the rules and recommendations drawn up by an interim committee which was formed at a meeting held last month to formulate proposals for the formation Of a Te Puke Sports Association. The meeting was addressed by Mr R. H. Gibbings, chairman of the Te Puke Chamber of Commerce, who stressed the need for unity among all sports bodies, in order to assist and strengthen sport in general in the district . Mr Budge, secretary of the interim committee, read the recommendations which were discussed and finally adopted unanimously.
