CABINET RESHUFFLE IN BRITAIN
THREE MINISTERS RESIGN NEW APPOINTMENTS MADE London, Oct. 6. Several changes in the British Cabinet have been announced from No. 10 Downing Street. They are:— Resignations: Mr J. J. Lawson, Minister of War. Viscount Stansgate, Minister of Air. Lord Winster, Minister of Civil Aviation. New Appointments Minister Without Portfolio. —Mr A. V. Alexander, at present First Lord of the Admiralty, who will be appointed Minister of Defence when the Ministry is formed. Colonies. —Mr A. Creech Jones, at present Parliamentary UnderSecretary the Colonial Office. Admiralty.—Mr G. H. Hall, at present Colonial Secretary. War. —Mr F. J. Bellenger, at present Financial Secretary to the War Office. « Air. —Mr P. J. Noel-Baker, at present Minister of State. Civil Aviation. —Lord Nathan, at
present Parliamentary UnderSecretary to the War Office. State. —Sir Hector McNeil, at present Parliamentary Under-Secre-tary to the Foreign Office.
