“I think the ratepayers owe a debt of appreciation to Mr Reid Ccr his chairmanship of the council in their interests. Under liis leadership we have been a very happy council,” stated Cr. H. B. Capamagian when congratulating Mr J., T. Reid on his re-election as chairman of the Tauranga County Council at the annual meeting 'yesterday. The following councillors were elected to the committees: Finance: Chairman and Crs. S. G. Williams, C. Kennedy and W. I. Rushton.
Plant: Chairman and Crs. M. A. Wilkins, C. Kennedy, W. I. Rushton and H. J. Bragg.
