A STRONG WORLD ARMY
New York, May 24. The president of the United Nations military staff committee, General Valin (France), said the committee had reached unanimous agreement c-n all problems related to ' the establishment of an international defence force which would be so strong that no country would darego to war. General Valin added that preliminary discussions on technical means of organising a world army w ere already under way. hut weie a close secret. He emphasised the extraordinary atmosphere of harmony in the committee' and said the staff members were more than Allies they were sinceie ti lends.
