I! ARD-LP DANCE HELD (From Our Correspondent.) The Oropi social committee held its fortnightly dance in the form of a hard-up dance recently and the attendance was fair. Prizes went to Miss Betty Monk and Mr .1. Oxnam and Mr N. Brown tied for the men’s prize. ,Mr Lewis Parkinson was M.C., and the music was supplied by Mesdames Monk and Watson with extras by Mr C.. Fugill. A dainty supper was supplied by the ladies and served by the committee. A waltz was won by Miss Bayer and Mr G. Petersen. The costumes worn by the dancers - caused considerable amusement and the dance ended with the playing of the National Anthem.
