THE INTERNATIONAL FUND
ORGANISATION DIVISIONS APPROVED Washington, May 21. The executive directors of the International Monetary Fund have approved an organisation with a framework of five divisions, or services, consisting of research, operations, and legal divisions, an administrative office and a treasurer’s office. The managing director, M. Camille Cult (Belgium), said the research divisions would develop an economic and financial background which the fund would need about countries asking for financial assistance. The operations divisions would ho the acuta! operating agency to carry out the aims of the Bretton Woods Agreement.
