OPENING NIGHT’S PLAY

GOOD MUSTER OF ENTHUSIASTS

The Tauranga Badminton Club began play last night in the Rivoli Hall.

The president (M.r K. Dyer) welcomed a large attendance of old and new players expressing the hope that the coming season would prove enjoyable to all members. New players were then given instruction in the game and at the conclusion of the evening’s play were all showing considerable promise. Club nights will be Wednesdays and Saturdays and the official opening will take place on Saturday, May 11.

As the season progresses local and inter-club competitions will he held.
