Because certain senior Rugby play-
crs will be away from Tauranga on Saturday to lake pan in the Mia! game ai Matata to select (he May of Plenty representative team, the Management Committee ol the Tauranga Rugby Sub-Union has decided to discontinue the competition tor the Jordon Cup in the meantime. On Saturday, therelore. the first
games for the Phelan Memorial Cun, which is a knockout competition, will be played by the four Tauranga
senior teams. The draw for Saturday is as follows: — Senior Series Judea v. Cadets, No. 1 ground, ,f p.m. Referee, Mr L. Walker. Rangataua v. Matakaua, No. 2 ground, p.m. Referee. Mr J. C. Ward.
Junior Competition
Old Boys v. Rangataua, No. 1 ground, 1.-15 p.m. Referee, Mr 0. Box.
Judea v. Matakaua, No. 2 ground, 1.45 p.m. Referee, Mr J. H. Dashwood. Third Grade Scdtool A v. Judea, No, 1- ground, 12.45. Referee, Mr A. E. Brown.
School B v. Cadets, No. 2 ground 12.45. Referee, Mr R. Matthews.
