GERMAN GENERALS CAPTURED
ART TREASURES ALSO DISCOVERED London, April 22. Captures listed by correspondents with the Ninth Army yesterday include the commander of the Fifth Panzer Army, General Josef Harte, and the entire staff of General von Clausewitz’s division. In addition, £5,000,000 worth of paper currency and silver, also art treasures, which were found in a vault iu Magdeburg, and enough Nazi Government documents to fill 30 trains and occupy a trained staff formally years. Lieutenant - General Friedrich Herrlein, Chief of Infantry on the German General Staff, was one of six generals taken. prisoner by General Patch’s troops in the past few days, says the British United Press correspondent with the Seventh Army.
