Bey Rider Injured While negotiating a jump in one horse event at the Ohauiti gymkhana on Saturday, Alfred Thrupp, small son of Mr and Mrs F. Thrupp, t.f Ohauiti, fell. He injured his wrist and was admitted to the Tauranga Public Hospital, being sent home yesterday. $ ■ “Hammer and Tongs” “I was glad to get out of that witness box; they went at me hammer and tongs,” declared the County Chairman (Mr J. T. Reid) when reporting on the sitting in Rotorua recently of the Parliamentary Committee investigating local body administration.
