SOLVING HOUSING SHORTAGE
BRITAIN’S NEEDS
London, April 2
Ways of solving the .housing shortage in Britain were debated at to-day’s political, conferences. . One proposal, urged by the Commonwealth Party, was that there should be a Minister of Housing with the job of providing 4,000,000 houses in five years.
The conference also wanted to see a Minister of National Development to deal with such questions as the location of industries.
