Further Blows At River Transport
Railway Bridge Blown Up
London. Sept. 30
in the day-to-day air offensive against the Japanese in Burma, R.A.F, planes yesterday carried out raids over a wide area, bombing Japanese army huts and troop concentrations. River transport received further heavy blows and many small vessels were destroyed in addition to which a railway bridge was blown up. Once again the Japanese failed to bring clown a single British aircraft.
