Broadcasting from Sicily to-night, General Sir Bernard Montgomery, Commander of the British Eighth Army, voiced the thanks of every soldier of the Eighth Army for telegrams and parcels sent to troops, which he said had been.a groat help in maintaining the morale of the Eighth Army at high level.
