President Roosevelt has arrived at Quebec and the final stage of the conference will now begin. Other recent arrivals are the Earl of Athlone, Governor-General of Canada, Mr Mackenzie King, Canadian Premier, and Mr Harry Hopkins. President Roosevelt’s personal representative. All the framework for the conference has now been completed by. a large staff of military chiefs and experts and a correspondent states that the conference is planning a knock-out blow in Europe.

He says that the political discussions will be almost as important as the military ones. Mr Eden and Mr Cordell Hull are expected shortly and also the British Minister of Information, Mr Brendan Bracken.
