St. John Ambulance A fresh series of lectures on home nursing will commence at the Ambulance Hall on Tuesday, August 24, at 7.30 p.m. Patriotic Shop The Patriotic Shop on Friday will he in charge of members of the Tauranga branch of the Red Cross Society. War On Rats. On the suggestion of the president (Mr L. E. Woods) the Tauranga Chamber of Commerce decided, at its monthly meeting, to approach the Borough Council with a request that it should endeavour to obtain rat baits for distribution in the borough.
