In the last war there were plenty of Jews in the German Army, as there are to-day in the British, American and Dominion fighting forces. They are loyal, and willingly do their share in the defence of the country They fit into the world picture, and have a place to fill. They are human beings like the rest of mankind, and are entitled to be treated as human beings and not bounded like wild and dangerous animals. Wherever the Jews go they take with them their religion and they do not seek to make converts to their faith. They observe their religions customs faithfully, and in that respect are an example to many others. The Jews are remarkably charitable and kind, but in this they are not ostentatious. What the future holds for the Jews it is hard to say but it would not be surprising it, as the result of the war they regain some measure of nationality.
