DOMINION PILOT

London, Feb. 1. The Air Ministry news service states that Pilot-Officer Aurisch, of Christchurch, recently took part in a raid over Akyab, Burma, when "Millionaire's Corner" was shot up by cannon-firing fighters. Pilot-Officer Aurisch said: "We pumped a lot of shells into factories before we arrived over 'Millionaire's Corner' in which two houses were apparently used by the Japanese for ammunition dumps because they blew up in a big way after we got in a number of strikes. "When returning we were rather annoyed by machine-gun posts near Yesryanbin. We went in low and gave them a number of bursts, resulting in one post panicking. All the crew jumpel into the river. We found two more popts on a jetty and put them out of action, then flew home for lunch."
