OBITUARY
MRS T. G. FRANCIS It is with deep regret that we record the death of Mrs Thomas Gracey Francis, of Omokoroa, which occurred recently after a short illness. Mrs Francis was the only daughter of Mrs and the late Mr J. W- Bramley, of Highbury, Birkenhead, Auckland. She was born at Penley's Grove Street, York, England, and lived at Munkgate until 1912 when she came to New Zealand, with her parents. Mrs Francis was educated at the Northcote School and the Auckland Girls' Grammar and Auckland Teachers' Training College. After teaching for about four years in the North Auckland district, .she was appointed sole teacher at the Omokoroa No. 2 School in 1929, and taught there until the latter part of 1936 when she was married to Mr T. G. Francis.
She was very keen on sport and a great lover of music, and made many friends in the district. Mrs Francis was very devoted to her children and home, and deep sympathy is extended to her husband and the three young children, Jocelyn. Robert and Kathleen.
