BRITISH PRIME MINISTER Conference With Roosevelt Decisive Action Under Consideration London, June 19. Mr Churchill arrived in the United States yesterday to consult with President Roosevelt. He was accompanied by the Chief of the Imperial General Staff, General Sir Alan Brooke, and other high officials.

He received an enthusiastic and affectionate welcome from the American press. The “New York Times” savs: “The whole of the United States hopes that" agreement will be reached on all major points in the shortest possible time.” Decisive military action is said to be under consideration. Mr Roosevelt's secretary, Mr Stephen Early, said it could be assumed that major decisions would be reached.
