The tows was cabled from Australia that second hand blankets were auctiouedat £5 per pair. Yesterday in Tauranga, and its population does hot yet compete with Sydney, we auctioned second hand double blankets tor £ 5 4s per pair. Double Sheets, as new, made the Phenomenal price of £ 2 Ss per pair and you can understand this price as j-otton goods are imported. We have oeen told that our production is controlled and planned by Govt, exports but in a wool producing country with ample mills and looms our .Present blanket position is a strong kdictment of control.
