CIVIL RAID VICTIMS
BRITAIN'S MAY CASUALTIES Rugby, June 14. Civilian air raid casualties during May in Britain have been officially announced. They are:—Killed or missing, believed killed, 399; and 425 injured and detained in hospital. Nine hundred and thirty-eight persons were killed during April, which, makes a total of 1337 killed during the period when the German air force carried out its "retaliation" raids on Bath, Exeter, Norwich, York and other historic British cities.
