"REDS WELL HOLD OUT"

Mr Wallace- Carroll, London manager of the United Press, wh.o recently returned from Russia, addressing the annual meeting of the American Society of Newspaper Editors, said Russia would be able to withstand any German offensive this year. He expressed the opinion that the danger spot during the next six weeks would be the Near East rather than Russia.
