The League of Mothers held its usual monthly meeting in the Baptist Hall last Thursday, Mrs Gaulton presiding.
The attendance was larger than usual, the aims and objects were read, andfefter the business had been dealt with, a cordial welcome was given to Mrs Gee. who gave a helpful talk on children’s ailments. At the conclusion of the talk Mrs Gaulton presented Mrs Gee with a posy of violets. A dainty afternoon tea was served, and the meeting closed with the mothers’ hymn and a prayer for peace.
