NEWS IN TOWN
Iron Rails. The old rails which used to run from the mill at Whakamarama to the Omokoroa wharf, are. being taken up for despatch to a Waikato coal mining company. The work commenced about ten days ago.
Overseas Baillot To-morrow. The names appearing in the latest overseas ballot will be published to-morrow. The number of men selected totals 19,000 of which 998 are from the Paeroa district.
