WINGS OF RUBBER

Dunlops are making rubber wings for lorries. These are weatherproof, rustless, flexible and dentproof. Perhaps before very long we shall be wanting them for private cars now in use, for difficulties in getting work done on dented wings are increasing and replacements are running short. For several years past “The Autocar” has suggested that wings made of rubber would be very useful on private cars, particularly those vehicles used for purely utilitarian purposes such as work in the hands of commercial travellers, and now that a firm of the standing of Dunlops have got busy we may see them com© into general use.
