METHODIST CHURCH

HARVEST FESTIVAL The Methodist Church held its annual Harvest Festival last Sunday, the Rev. Hedley White conducting both morning and evening services. At the morning service the Juvenile Choir sang a pretty harvest song, "Reaping, Reaping,"' and Mr White gave a talk to the children on weeding, the sermon being on "Reaping"; the adult choir sang "Break Forth Into Joy" and "Ye Shall Dwell in the Land." At the evening service the Choir rendered the cantata—" Song of Thanksgiving," those taking part being as follows:—Mr D. Clark, Miss Beatrice Bulmer, Miss Pearl Herbert, Mrs D. Clark, Mr N. Covell, soloists; Mr and Mrs Clark, and Mrs Clark and Miss B. Bulmer sang duets. The Church was nicely decorated for the occasion. On Monday night the harvest sale was Held in Wesley Hall, being conducted by Mr Jones.
