Red Cross Assisted We are informed by Mr J. K. Lowe,, honorary secretary of the local Red Cross that he has received a handsome donation from three children, Nan and David Auld and Beth Wenzlick, who recently organised a sale of work in Mr Auld’s garage on Cameron Road. David Auld had made splendid jig saw puzzles which with other novelties were on sale, and the children are warmly thanked for their efforts. Dull Weather. The weather has not taken up since the break last week, and conditions are still muggy and unpleasant. Light drizzling rain fell at intervals during the morning. Over the past 48 hours the fall has been .18in. Temperatures are high.
