TALRAXGA CIAJB’S MEETING The Tauranga Club is anticipating a successful season, and their report to be presented at the annual meeting on Tuesday next discloses a very satisfactory position. Last year was most successful in every way, the Club winning the Dunlop Shield and the Lees Cup, while the New. Year Tournament drew good entries and a high standard of play. The highlight of the season was the visit of the Australian lady champions and Miss Margaret Beverley. Two new courts have been laid down and this progressive Club will have 9 courts to commence the season with.' The war has mads inroads on the membership, but it is hoped that younger players will join up and that the older members will give full support.
