SOCIAL EVENING

WELCOME TO MISS JENKINS An evening was arranged by the Tauranga Nurses on Thursday at the Lyceum Club to welcome Miss Jenkins as a new member. This opportunity was also taken to renew acquaintance with Miss Hilditch (late Matron of Karitane Hospital, Dunedin) who is making a short visit to Tauranga. Progressive bridge was played throughout the evening, and after supper Miss Jackson in a bright little speech wished Miss Jenkins every success and happiness in her work in Tauranga. Miss Jenkins in replying said that she felt that she was already amongst friends.
