NEW TITLE-HOLDERS

The Waikato Sub-C:ntre of the New Zealand Athletic Association's Centennial championships were conducted by the Paeroa Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club on the Pde'roa

Domain on Saturday. Heavy showers made the tracks heavy and delayed the progamme slightly.

Results included the following: The Inter-Club Championship Shield was easily retained by Hamilton who scored 15S points, Tauranga 65, Morrinsville 44, Paeroa* 38, Rotorua 20, Thames 19, Matamata 15, Te Aroha 14, Te Puke 11, Te Kuiti 10, Whakatane 9, Opotiki 5 and Te Awamutu and Taumarunui 1 point each.
