NEED FOR BICYCLE STANDS

Sir, —Some time ago “the Borough Council had before it the question of providing bicycle stands in the town. So far nothing has been done, but as there are hundreds of bicycles used in this borough the provision of stands is an absolute necessity, particularly in the vicinity of the Post Office. The dropping of bicycles in the watertables is a general menace and the only way to obviate it is to provide stands in the busy areas of the town. • CYCLIST.
