Sight For Fishermen. A scene upon which anglers in the district would like to have feasted their eyes, was witnessed in the Ngaruroro River near Clive • Bridge a few days ago when a shoal of fish was seen cruising about close to the surface of the water. A remarkable feature was that the fins of the fish were projecting out of the water and many scores could be seen to be moving up and down with the bodies of the fish appearing. It was not long before a number of local “fishermen appeared on the scene and up to a late hour in the afternoon numerous rods plied the river in search of large bags.
