TENSE MOMENT

OLD LADY SAVES £2OO There was a tense moment in London when three men attacked a cashier who was carrying £ to a workshop. The cashier threw the money to an old lady close by, and she was brave enough to keep it till the bandits drove off. Now the cashier’s employers have sent her five pounds. The. old lady is Mrs Feast of Tottenham, and five pounds to her is a feast and 1 a fortune. With it she hopes to buy herself warm clothing for the winter, a pair of good shoes, and some coal; but she will put a little of her money on one side so that she may make a gift to her son, who has been in hospital many years.
