INTELLIGENT ANTICIPATION
A newspaper announced the death of William Jones, who, it turned out, was not dead. Next day the paper printed the following note:
“Yesterday we were the first newspaper to publish the death of William Jones. To-day we are the first to deny the report. The ‘Morning Star’ is always in the lead.”
