KILLED BY TRACTOR
MACHINE CAPSIZES ON DRIVER Morrinsville, Oct. 19. When the tractor he was driving at Morrinsville to-day capsized, the driver was pinned underneath and was killed instantly. The victim was Mr William Ernest Buckley, aged 33, married, with four children, of Frankton Junction. Mr Buckley was in the employ of Butler and Carroll, Limited, contractors, of Hamilton, and for some weeks had been engaged in levelling work on the site of the new Morrinsville High School. The work was completed to-day, t and at the time of the accident Mr Bucklek was engaged in driving a tractor up two planks on to a truck for transport to another contract. The lorry moved forward, causing the planks to slip and the tractor to fall on its side. Mr Buckley was pinned underneath and suffered a fractured back and crushed chest.
