Hoben, a former resident in Tauranga, and now living in Napier, states that if Tauranga with its fine harbour and climate could be lifted to the pushing Province in which he is located, it would.very soon be one of the biggest places in the Colony. Mr Hoben also states that the establishment in Tauranga of an Arbor Day and the Thursday half-holi-day are considered by the people of Napier to be extremely good.”

The auctioneer, seeing Mr G. V.
