WEEKLY MEETING. The Amateur Athletic and Cvclln. Club held their weekly meeting W night on the Domain, when there S a fair attendance. Competition has not reached its full strength yet bm no doubt will improve as the season progresses. There must be so Z young girls in Tauranga who could take an interest in running. This 1* the poqxest section of all. There k no lack of competition among th» youngsters, in fact the difficulty i s to make the track wide enough to a'c commodate them. Tanner 1 L Rowsell 2, K. Rowsell 3. 100 yds., Junior.—G. Lyons 1 R Fuller 2. 1 mile cycle, open.—p. Coker 1, J. Stewart 2, Thwaites 3. Children's Events. Boys under 2 yrs.—Goodall 1 Hodge 2, Ward 3. Boys over 10 yrs.—Stewart 1, Stevens 2, Hartley 3. School girls.—E. O’Brien 1, L, Mackey 2, Gwen Hicks 3.
