TAURIKO.

The monthly meeting of the Tauriko Mothers’ League Avas held in the Tauriko Settlers’ Hall on Wednesday. The President read the aims and objects of the League, also a prayer for peace. , A pleasant afternoon Avas spent, each member giving a quotation or small reading.

Mrs. Wardrop and Mrs. Alley contirbuted musical items which Avere much enjoyed. Afternoon tea was served by the hostesses, and the League Hymn brought a pleasant afternoon to a close.
