NOMINATIONS FOR TAURANGA THREE NOMINATIONS ELECTION ON OCTOBER 15 Nominations of candidates for the various Parliamentary seats in New Zealand closed at noon to-day. Three were received for the electoral district of -Tauranga by the Returning Officer, Mr J. C. Harding, as follows: BARKER, Horace Charles.—Nominated by Ivy Barker, (Mount Maunganui) and Daniel P. Lloyd (Whakamarama). BURNETT, Charles Harris. —Nominated by B. C. Robbins, M.L.C. (Tauranga), Walter O. Bryant (Tauranga), Patrick McKenna (Tauranga), John D. Alach (Tauriko), Frederick R. Howard (Tauranga), Charles J. Hallett (Otakiri), Andrew McLean (Edgecumbe) and Eustace C. Delves (Pongakawa Valley).
DOIDGE, Frederick Widdowson.— Nominated by Edward Tamblyn, Robert Mann, Henry A. Sharp, William P. Bell, William A. Carswell, Duncan Rankin, Percival G. Mclntosh, Thomas H. Roseveare, all of Tauranga.
The election will be held on Saturday, October 15.
