KATIKATI NOTES

ARRIVAL OF PRESBYTERIAN MINISTER (From Our Correspondent). The Presbytery at Kalikati will see a new tenant to-day with the arrival of the Rev Mr Stewart of Hamilton, who has been appointed to Katikati to fill the vacancy created by the departure of the Rev Mr Steele who has been appointed to a see at Ngaruawahia after a term of several years in this district. The induction of the Rev Mr Stewart will be carried out at a service being conducted in the Presbyterian Church this evening, the service being conducted by the acting Moderator, the Rev Mr McEwan of Paeroa. At the conclusion of the service a social will be held in the Hall so giving the new minister an opportunity of meeting a great number of his parishioners. An invitation has been extended to the Rev. Mr Addis, the Vicar of St. Peter's Church of England at Katikati.
