The Hon. P. Fraser, Minister of Kducation and Health, is paying a visit to the East Coast districts this week. Much of (ho Minister’s time will be spent seeing schools in the i area.. He will return to Gisborne to-morrow. Mr Geo. 11. Mann, of Auckland, who has been spending a holiday hero, left yesterday to visit friends in Opotiki. Mr J. G. Cliff McCulloch, Chairman of the Whakatane County Council, was a visitor to Tauranga yesterday. Guests at the Star Hotel include ) Mr and Mrs Wyatt, Messrs Petty, I Fuller, Carr-Uollett, Larnach, ColeI brook, Littlcwood and Pemherthy. i \ Guests at the Tauranga Hotel include Mr and Mrs Bates (Rotorua), Messrs Crawford, Anderson, Adams, Manning, Kmeraldi, Burgess, Dewo, Morley, Watson, and Forsdick. ! Mr and Mrs G. Wilmot, of Ngaruaj wahia, are spending a holiday with Mrs Wilmot’s brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs 11. S. Benjamin, of 1 Otumoctai. Mrs Undine Clarke has returned I from a short visit to Auckland. Mr and Mrs K. Anstcn and Joan, I of Pukekohe, formerly of Tauranga, j are spending a holiday hero as guests ' of Mrs E. R.
