Both fairways and greens were very slow until the sun came out in the afternoon and started to dry them. Under these circumstances the winning score of tw r o down by A. Wallace was a creditable performance.

The ladies match for next Saturday is a Bogey Competition. The recent exceptionally heavy easterly storm caused a sandd-rid on part of No. 3 fairway. The part affected is being treated as "ground under repair” until the sand disappears.
