Bell, Tollemache v. Gouldiug, Nevvlaud v. Malpas, Wallace Dickson v. Willcock, Gifford v. Heath, Barker v Bradmore, Foster v. Whiting, Sadd v. Woollams, Brayshay v. Carnacban. ‘Wylie v. Woodhouse, Lusk v. Low, Sutherland v. Wallace. Byes in the first round are; BayLss, Woods, Wilberforce, G. Hart, Baddeley, Jordan, F. Riddell, Hodgkiuson. Hay, Kemp, Good, Lee**, Bezar, Murray, Barney, Whiting, Earl, J. Hart. The May Medal was competed for last week-end in the form of a Boge) Match. Both fairways and greens were very slow until the sun came out in the afternoon and started to dry them. Under these circumstances the winning score of tw r o down by A. Wallace was a creditable performance.
The ladies match for next Saturday is a Bogey Competition. The recent exceptionally heavy easterly storm caused a sandd-rid on part of No. 3 fairway. The part affected is being treated as "ground under repair” until the sand disappears.
